Brilliantly designed Bel Air home on steep terrain

Sarbonne Road Residence is a large family home of approximately 13,000 square feet located on a steep and difficult lot in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. Designed by architecture firm McClean Design, the goal of the project was to create a large warm contemporary home and to maximize the flat area of available land. The pad is extended by pushing the lap pool to the extremities of the lot and creating a flat area between the house and the pool.
A large garage is located below the house creating a circular entry court with a stair and water wall leading the way to the entry. The house consists of several entertainment rooms on the lower level and incorporates several bedrooms as well as a library, media room, maid’s quarters and wine room.
