Manhattan apartment by Neal Beckstedt Studio

American architect and designer Neal Beckstedt recently completed a model apartment in The Lucida on East 86th Street in Manhattan, New York City.
In designing the 5-bedroom apartment (1 bedroom became a media room and 1 bedroom was made into a library), Beckstedt faced two interlocking challenges: giving the place a contemporary slant in keeping with the architecture of the building and creating spaces that would appeal to a range of prospective buyers.

There is a muted color palette and furniture that reflects classic modern style throughout.
